Daufuskie Island Golf by Nicklaus and Weiskopf

Our golf has been ranked by Conde Nast as “One of the top 100 courses in the world (#58)” and as a guest, you’ll experience up to eight rounds of golf each and every day of your stay with us (two rounds per bedroom rented, included).

Eighteen holes of golf designed by golfing legend Jack Nicklaus is located in Melrose on Daufuskie Island. Golf Digest deemed this course “Top 75 in North America" and it’s truly spectacular. Par 72 and 7,081 yards, this course features smaller target greens and a variety of long and short par 4’s and excellent par 5’s. The course is highlighted by a 18th hole peninsula that juts out into the surf of the Atlantic Ocean. This is one of the most distinguished courses in South Carolina.

An additional 18 holes of golf is located along Bloody Point on Daufuskie Island. This course was designed by Tom Weiskopf and Jay Morrish. With par 72 and 6,900 yards, this course has three finishing holes along the Atlantic Ocean overlooking Harbour Town on Hilton Head and Tybee Island in Georgia. Wildlife is abundant along these fairways. See an eagle's nest on the 17th hole and watch the spray of the ocean as you finish on the greens.
